Deep Vein

Deep Vein is a mining incremental about drilling deeper than you probably should.

Click and mine your way through a chain of resources — starting with plain Stone and working up through increasingly exotic, increasingly dangerous materials the deeper you go. Automate the grind with a roster of drones, each with its own role: brute-force hitters, AoE splashers, buffers, prospectors, and more. Gear them up at the Forge, hunt for rare Artifacts, and grab Treasure Chests before they disappear.

Once the surface stuff stops being enough, dive into a 50+ node Skill Tree spanning four branches — drones, mining, clicking, and automation — each one ending in a unique capstone ability you only unlock by mastering that entire branch. Finish all four, and something bigger unlocks.

When a run runs its course, Prestige for permanent Skill Points and start deeper than before. Push far enough, and a second, rarer reset — The Shattering — opens up a permanent Reliquary of upgrades that carry across every future run.

This is a playtesting build. Numbers are still being tuned and there are almost certainly rough edges — if something feels unbalanced, confusing, or breaks outright, I want to hear about it. Comments are open and I read every one.
